Winding down peak season now. It was hard to keep up with beer demand this summer with our brewing system, and the fact that I love lagers which take 4 times longer to make, therefor tying up tank space on me. Just got done brewing a pumpkin beer. It was an “interesting” experience as the pumpkin gummed up the sparging process causing a very long day. The result is a very interesting beer. Cinnamon really pops out at you. The clove supports the spice mix well. If you were to add some vanilla ice cream to this, or sweet whipped cream you would be drinking pumpkin pie!
